May 26th saw the opening of the Taonga Wāhine Exhibition at 97 Broadway Kaikohe. This exhibition showcased the work done at the Taonga Wāhine workshop in 2015. The exhibition was designed and curated by ĀKAU Youth Designers and promoted women's health and safety in Kaikohe.
Alongside the exhibition there was a heap of workshops, gigs and fun activities. Check out some of the photos from the exhibition and associated workshops below!
